Small businesses are often fast-paced environments. That means you need to get your team working together quickly.
This one's simple, team-building exercises can help build rapport!
Here are some fun ideas for your team:
Scavenger hunts - Team members try to find items around the office with clues!
Office trivia - Teams compete against each other to answer questions on different themes!
Two truths and a lie - Team members share three statements about themselves, two are true and one is a lie. Other team members guess which is the lie!
Human knot - Team members have to untangle themselves within a time limit!
Escape room - Team members must find for clues and solve puzzles to escape within a time limit. This activity requires communication and teamwork!
Use your people skills to build your team
For your team to thrive you must be approachable, friendly, authoritative and responsible. In other words, a good manager and leader.
You may need training to help you become a better manager and there's no shame in that. Running a business is a learning process – and just like your employees, you can learn and improve.
After all, the better you are at managing people, the better your team will perform and the faster your business will grow."
